This August, Local 107.3FM‘s Radio Camp is back – on the UNB Saint John campus!
We are inviting youth (9-14) to join us from August 19th to August 23rd 2019 to speak their minds, to own their truths, and to feel empowered through creating media. Our facilitators will provide exciting, engaging, and informative workshops on a wide range of topics – from creating and editing YouTube videos to producing live radio
Radio Camp is being made available AT NO COST to participants.
For the most part, our mornings will be spent honing our production skills & working on our final project in the Local FM booths on campus and our afternoons will be spent uptown at the BMO Studio Theatre and elsewhere! We will be traveling to various locations throughout the city via public transit to attend Fundy Fringe Festival shows, to take part in workshops, to conduct interviews, and to gather material for our end-of-week radio special!
To register, complete the following online form and then complete the physical waiver found below. You must hand in the waiver the day camp starts, as we need written consent. If you do not complete the online form, PLEASE contact Jerrad Fawcett via email (jerrad@cfmh.ca) prior to Saturday, August 17th to ensure we have your child listed as a participant!
Camp programming starts at 8:45 a.m. every day of the week and pickup is at 5 p.m.
Camper arrivals will be accepted as of 8 a.m. every day.
